Symptom narrative

Patient began having symptoms of abdominal pain around 3-4 days post vaccine date. Patient presented to the Urgent care on October 30th 2025 about 11 days after onset of symptoms which were nonspecific abdominal pain that was diffuse but mostly in the epigastric and RUQ. A CT scan was performed which revealed a superior mesenteric vein thrombosis. Patient was treated with lovenox in the ED and prescribed Eliquis and Celebrex to manage the thrombosis and associated pain. Hospitalization was considered but ultimately she was discharged from the ED.

10/30/25: CT abdomen/pelvis with contrast, CMP, CBC, PT/INR, urinalysis and urine culture, EKG. On 11/14/25: factor V Leiden, activated protein C resistance, prothrombin G20210A, protein C, Protein S, antithrombin, and antiphospholipid, Jak 2 mutation.
