On Day 0, Client immediately felt radiating heat throughout her body and immediate weakness and dizziness. She laid on vaccine chair with feet up. Fluids and a snack was provided. After 20 mins, client states that initial reaction has subsided and fully recovered while in clinic. Per client's statement "On Day 0-2 I had loose stools, nausea, malaise, and very mild injection site pain. On Days 3-6 I continued to have loose stools but no diarrhea. On Day 7 at 3:30am I had waves of heat begin through my nervous system again and continue at varying intervals and varying severity for 3 hours, combined with diarrhea. I also had some instances of numbness/tingling in my left arm, a period of feeling hot for about 20 minutes (but no fever). I found that eating did not make me feel better. After symptoms subsided I have had intermittent waves of heat throughout Day 7 and continue to have loose stools." Client went to her PCP and advised to refrain from receiving second dose of Rabies. According to her PCP, this could be "a drawn out immune response and to expect this for another week at least, but does not think I am at high risk of chronic complications."
