Symptom narrative

patient received capvaxive on 11/4 then started with hives and itching on 11/5 that eventually covered her vaccinated arm, face to include involvement of eyes, mouth, face, and lips, neck, shoulder, back, both legs past her knees, and her private region. she started taking benadryl 25mg capsule and using topical benadryl cream on 11/5 and used through 11/17 (she purchased benadryl spray on 11/16) at which time the reaction had spread to her eyes and inside her mouth which prompted her to go be seen on 11/17 and was treated with 2 shots and had 3 prescriptions sent in to the pharmacy that she is to start 11/18. within 25-60 minutes of the 2 shots at the clinic her eye and mouth involvement were resolved. she is feeling better and resting comfortably.
