within 12-18 hours he developed a persistent cough and nasal congestion.; within 12-18 hours he developed a persistent cough and nasal congestion.; This spontaneous report was received from an Other health professional (Medical Assistant) and refers to a 66-year-old male patient. The patient's medical history included vitamin-b deficiency. The patient's concurrent conditions included hypertension, hyperlipedemia, and pre-diabetes. Concomitant medications included Atrovastatin, Lisinopril, and Montelukast. On 22-Oct-2025, the patient was vaccinated with Pneumococcal 21-valent Conjugate Vaccine (CAPVAXIVE) Solution for injection (valid lot #Z003579, expiration date: 07-Sep-2026) 0.5 mL/once administered as prevention of pneumonia (dose number, route of administration, and anatomical location were not provided. On 22-Oct-2025 (within 12-18 hours), the patient experienced persistent cough and nasal congestion. The patient sought medical attention and was administered azithromycin (ZITHROMAX) and medro-pac as a treatment for the events. No further symptoms were provided. He was going to return in 10 days to see if recovered. At the reporting time, the outcome of persistent cough and nasal congestion was unknown.
