Symptom narrative

In the evening after the 2pm injection, 2nd dose of Hep B given at 1 month routine well baby event, developed red eruptions on the chin, and then later on the face, extremities. Progressed overnight to include swelling of hands and feet with red areas there. Seen in the Emergency Room and was felt to be a likely allergic reaction vs serum sickness response. Hep B was the only injection given, and no medications had been administered. Benadryl given, reaction settled within 12-24 hours thereafter. No hospitalization. No fever.
