No additional AE; patient received improperly stored VARIVAX.; This spontaneous report was received from a Nurse on 10-Nov-2025 and refers to a patient of unknown age and gender. The patient's medical history, concurrent conditions and concomitant therapies were not reported. On 03-Nov-2025, the patient was vaccinated with an improperly stored dose of Varicella Virus Vaccine Live (Oka-Merck) (VARIVAX REFRIGERATOR STABLE), (lot #Z003882, expiration date: 03-Feb-2027) 1 dosage form reported as a Single dose (dose number and dose were unspecified) for prophylaxis. The vaccine was reconstituted with sterile diluent (Hollister-Stier STERILE DILUENT) (lot#, route, dose, dose number were unspecified) for an unknown indication for prophylaxis. The administered dose of the vaccine experienced a temperature excursion of -12.9 centigrade for 10 hours, 40 minutes and 5.4 Fahrenheit for 5 minutes. No previous temperature excursion mentioned. There was no adverse effect reported.
