Symptom narrative

Patient was given MMRV. Patient was also given Varicella vaccine. Agency was contacted and employee advised "you can let the parents know their child received MMRV, and that changes were recently made, contraindicating this. They were double-dosed on chicken pox, and may experience a localized reaction. Follow your usual protocol for counseling on watching for fevers etc after vaccinations and when to seek medical help. "
