This case was associated with a product complaint. On 11-NOV-2025, the patient received Kinrix. On 11-NOV-2025, an unknown time after receiving Kinrix, the patient experienced occupational exposure while preparing product for administration (Verbatim: Accidental exposure to product/medication went in the stock box and on the caller) and inadvertent exposure to vaccine (Verbatim: Accidental exposure to product/medication went in the stock box and on the caller). On an unknown date, the patient experienced device plunger issue (Verbatim: plunger completely popped from the syringe) and pharmaceutical product complaint (Verbatim: plunger completely popped from the syringe). Additional Information: GSK receipt date: 13-NOV-2025 The reporter went to remove a Kinrix prefilled syringe (PFS) from the stock box and the plunger completely popped from the syringe, like it was under pressure. The medication went in the stock box and on the reporter (Accidental Exposure). All the other syringes were fine. The reporter said it did not catch on the box as she was removing the PFS.
