rash comes on then the itching; still continues to itch; This non-serious case was reported by a pharmacist via call center representative and described the occurrence of vesicular rash in a 75-year-old male patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. Concomitant products included VARICELLA ZOSTER VACCINE RGE (CHO) (SHINGRIX). On 22-NOV-2023, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingrix (intramuscular). On 22-NOV-2023, immediately after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced vesicular rash (Verbatim: rash comes on then the itching) and pruritus (Verbatim: still continues to itch). The outcome of the vesicular rash and pruritus were resolving. It was unknown if the reporter considered the vesicular rash and pruritus to be related to Shingrix. It was unknown if the company considered the vesicular rash and pruritus to be related to Shingrix. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 10-NOV-2025 The pharmacist reported that the patient started breaking out in a rash and itching after the 2nd dose and they had decided it from the Shingrix. The patient had been using a bunch of steroid creams and said it flared up right after that second dose and then it just kept coming back. It kind of looks like shingles but did not hurt like shingles and it just itches. The rash comes on then the itching, the rash goes away but still continues to itch. The reporter was unsure of site of Shingrix administration but confirmed it was administered intramuscularly. The batch number was not provided upon follow up with the reporter.
