Symptom narrative

patient received 2 vaccines and per her request in the same arm - she was a little sore the next day but she assumed that it was just because of the soreness we talked about when we gave it. however, yesterday she woke up and it was swollen and the ROM was minimal. she does have bursitis so she went to urgent care and they xrayed it and didn't see anything. she also thought maybe it was a blood clot, but that was ruled out too. they just chalked it up to the vaccines. she said if it isn't better in a couple of days she is going to go to a "bigger hospital.; The swelling is not where we gave the vaccine. It is in the underneath side of her arm at the elbow level with some swelling into the forearm. The actual injection site has a very small knot but she said that part isn't sore at all.
