Suspected vaccination failure; Shingles again. This one goes from my spine all the way around to close to my bellybutton.; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of vaccination failure in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. Co-suspect products included Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. The patient's past medical history included chickenpox, shingles (on rib area, deep pain lasted a long time) and pain. On an unknown date, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingles vaccine and the 1st dose of Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingles vaccine and Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced vaccination failure (Verbatim: Suspected vaccination failure) (serious criteria GSK medically significant) and shingles (Verbatim: Shingles again. This one goes from my spine all the way around to close to my bellybutton.). The outcome of the vaccination failure and shingles were not reported. It was unknown if the reporter considered the vaccination failure and shingles to be related to Shingles vaccine and Shingles vaccine. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 17-NOV-2025 This case was reported by a patient via interactive digital media. The patient had chicken pox and got shingles. The patient had it on rib area, deep pain lasted a long time. The shingles shot was available, and patient never want to go through that again and it was a 2-shot deal. The patient had shingles again. This one went from patient spine all the way around to close to bellybutton and about 2 inches wide. This itches super bad. The patient's daughters said that it could keep being activated but shots made it so it's not really horrible. This case was considered as suspected vaccination failure as details regarding time to onset for shingles and laboratory confirmation regarding shingles were unknown at the time of reporting.
