shingles immediately afterwards; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of shingles in a female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. The patient's past medical history included nerve pain (had nerve pain for years). On an unknown date, the patient received Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, immediately after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced shingles (Verbatim: shingles immediately afterwards). The outcome of the shingles was resolved. It was unknown if the reporter considered the shingles to be related to Shingles vaccine. It was unknown if the company considered the shingles to be related to Shingles vaccine. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 18-NOV-2025 This case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media. The reporter reported that his/her in-laws got the shot, and both ended up with shingles immediately afterwards. Mother-in-law lasted a couple of months, and she had nerve pain for years.
