First side effect showed up about two weeks after first dose of Gardasil vaccine (August 25, 2025). Tingling between shoulders. Followed a few days later by excruciating lower back pain and hip joint pain, the worst pain I've ever experienced. This was followed by tingling in both hands. Second dose Gardasil October 13. This was followed by tingling in both feet and numbness of toes. Also increased tingling in hands, including tingling that went from the hand to the elbows. Following second dose hair began to fall out. As of today, November 7, hair is falling out in handfuls. I am immune compromised and a kidney transplant patient, receiving the Transplant November 2021. The Gardasil vaccine was recommended to me after warts began to develop all over my body, including private areas, and surgery was necessary to remove them because of pain. Following surgery, getting the vaccine was recommended by the surgeon even though I am 71 years old and clearly had been exposed to HPV when I was younger as I had developed cervical cancer at a young age. Transplant team concurred about getting the vaccine. To date, my ortho Doctor Who had seen for the hip and lower back pain, recommend recommended a three limb EMG, which has not been performed. First dose of the vaccine was given in doctors office, and the offer provided the vaccine. Medicare would not cover it so second dose came by me purchasing the vaccine from the pharmacy and having a nurse administered since the pharmacy would not administer it.
