Symptom narrative

I took him to Pediatric urgent care 11/21, after I noticed his left thigh injection site was getting red, bigger in size, and was hot, it was also hard when you touched around it . He was seen, she said it was normal vaccine reaction, I was told to give him 7.5 ML of Benadryl and put ice packs on it. It s 11:30pm on 11/22 (84 hours past vaccine) and it s not as hot and stopped swelling. Redness has not started to fade yet but also has not grown in size any more. Also, I called his primary care pediatrician office after leaving urgent care to let them know I did take him to urgent care, and let them know what reaction was happening.
