Symptom narrative

The administration was very painful. Much more than the 1st Shingrix dose and any other's I have had IM. The arm reddened, was warm to the touch, and slightly swollen. These side effects subsided after a few days but the pain did not. The pain continued to worsen to the point that I was not moving/using my left arm (when I moved the arm, it felt as though the deltoid muscle was ripping). Pain eventually moved into my shoulder causing me to not be able to perform daily activities (personal hygiene, get dressed, etc). MRI done on 5/28/25. Results: Adhesive Capsulitis (frozen shoulder). On 7/14/25, I met with an orthopedic surgeon who said the frozen shoulder was due to the administration of the vaccine. Began PT 7/25/25 up until the shoulder manipulation procedure. I am continuing physical therapy.
