Symptom narrative

Six days after receiving COVID booster, patient developed chest pain with gradual onset. He noticed R arm tingling and had mild nausea without vomiting. Pain worsened during deep inspiration. Denies HA, dizziness, SOB, productive cough, vomiting, ab pain, fevers, chills, change in bowel or bladder habits. Treatment medications ibuprofen 600 mg and colchicine 0.6 mg.

Lab data

12/9 - Vaccine received. 12/16 - Hospital admitted. 12/17 - Cardiologist identified a pericardial friction rub. EKG showed ST segment elevation consistent with pericarditis. Was not present on 12/16. C-reactive protein 122 mg/L
