Symptom narrative

Patient had mild fever then parents reported a seizure 7 hours after immunizations. Patient was seen in the ER and started on Keppra 200 mg po twice daily and Valtoco nasal spray for status epilepticus

Medical history

Hydrocephalus, congenital cerebral ventriculomegaly, gastroesophageal reflux

Other medications

Simethicone 40 mg/0.6 mls: 0.3 mls by mouth 3 times daily as needed for gas pain

CBC, CMP, VRP, Urinalysis, blood gas, Blood culture, urine culture
