Pain in top of shoulder; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via call center representative and described the occurrence of shoulder pain in a 70-year-old female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. The patient's past medical history included hand operation (had hand surgery on right hand and no information provided for reason for surgery). On 19-NOV-2025, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingrix (left arm). On 19-NOV-2025, 1 hr 30 min after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced shoulder pain (Verbatim: Pain in top of shoulder). The patient was treated with ibuprofen (Advil). The outcome of the shoulder pain was not resolved. It was unknown if the reporter considered the shoulder pain to be related to Shingrix. It was unknown if the company considered the shoulder pain to be related to Shingrix. Additional Information: GSK receipt date: 20-NOV-2025 The consumer reports approximately 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours after the vaccine was administered, she had a pain at the very top of her right shoulder. The consumer stated that the pain was present on the day of reporting and was very, very painful. The consumer stated she took two Advil to relieve the pain. The consumer stated other than the pain on her right shoulder she felt fine. The batch number was not provided and a request for this information has been made.
