Patient felt unwell about 30 seconds after receiving her flu vaccine. She felt light headed and wanted to rest her head on the table. She stated her head hurt and felt heavy and that she felt like she could not or did not want to move when I offered to help her to lay down. She was talking the entire time but states she felt like she lost consciousness briefly. When she stated that she felt stuck like she could not move I alerted an associate to call 911 and notify the store director. I propped myself right next to patient on the left side holding the side of her body incase she did fall or slump over. Emergency personnel arrived a few minutes later and they determined that it was not anaphylactic and that her blood pressure was slightly raised. They worked with her for about 10 minutes and then walked her out to her car to wait for family or a ride. This occured roughly between 11:40am to 12:10 pm.
