Symptom narrative

To begin with, my daughter has been a healthy 6 month old with zero complications or health concerns. She has never had a fever and has met all her milestones. She is a happy easy baby that is usually easy to console. She stays at home, with an occasional babysitter, and once a week she goes to her grandmothers house. She does not go to daycare. On Monday 11/17/2025 we agreed to do her 6 month vaccines. Just the normal routine ones of Pediarix, HIB, and Pneumococcal at 4:30 pm. We did not do RSV or influenza. She has never had any adverse reaction to her prior vaccines until this event. Early Tuesday morning at 3:15 am her owlet sock alarmed a critical alarm.(11 hours post vaccines) I ran into her room and she was lying on her right side and staring straight. At this moment she had labored irregular breathing with moaning and grunting. This lasted around 10 minutes. Once I knew she was stable I looked at the owlet app she was averaging around 93% oxygen level. We have never had the owlet sock throw a critical alarm ever before. I took her temperature and it was normal. Due to her irregular/labored breathing with moaning and grunting I decided to take her to the ER. At the ER she had Flu A, Flu B, Covid, RSV test all came back negative. She also had a 2 view chest xray which also came back negative. At the ER she was acting her normal self and oxygen levels were upper 90% s and also breathing was normal. She did not have a fever. We were discharged. We got home around 5 am and I put her back to bed in her crib. At 7:15 am the owlet sock threw another critical alarm. I ran into her room to check on her. She was lying on her right side had lots of drool/bubbles on her mouth. I turned her to her back. She was lip smacking had her eyes deviated up and to the left and staring, and her hands were up and clenched in a fist. I said her name a few times and touched her but she was not attentive to me being there. She was in a daze. In addition she had labored irregular breathing with moaning and grunting. I quickly grabbed my phone and recorded a few short videos. The staring/lip smacking lasted about 2 minutes. She finally came around and still had her labored irregular moaning grunting breathing for about another 5 minutes. I took her temperature, and she was not running a fever. I quickly grabbed a bag and headed to the pediatricians office because they opened at 8 am. We were able to be seen at 8:45 am. I explained both events and showed the doctor the videos I had taken from the second episode. At the pediatrician office she was extra fussy than usual and was spitting up more than what she normally does. The doctor agreed that we go to a hospital for further testing workup for seizures. She did not have a fever at pediatrician office. We went to the hospital ER and had full work up of labs and blood work. Test performed were Ammonia, CBC and Differential, ER Panal BMP, Morphology smear review, Urinalysis chemistry screen w/Microscopic and Culture Reflex, Urine Toxicology Screen. All of these test came back normal. We also had a 2-24 hr EEG test. After 2 hrs the test was negative and clear and leads were taken off. During this 9 hour ER Visit my daughter was extremely fussy and cried a lot. She was not her usual self but I am not sure if it was because her routine was thrown off by the amount of doctors and nurses coming in and out/touching/bothering her or from vaccines. In addition the EEG lead placements took over 30 minutes of which she was nonstop crying. The nurse did take her axillary temperature and she did have a fever. She then took a rectal temperature and it was 101.7. I am not sure if the fever was due to the vaccines or from her constant crying for over 30-45 minutes when the EEG leads were being placed. The RN gave Tylenol and her fever went away and never came back. Since all her test came back negative we were discharged late Tuesday Evening 11/18/2025. Since then she has not had any other symptoms. We followed up with the pediatrician on Friday 11/21/2025. I am filing this report on 11/24/2025. I called the pediatrician s office today for the lot numbers of the vaccines that were given. The nurse said she was unable to look those up and left a message for the nurse manager to follow up with me to get the lot numbers of the vaccines. We follow up with Pediatric Neurologist on 12/26/2025.
