Symptom narrative

Pain and swelling at injection site on the right deltoid and pain with certain shoulder movements (raising the arm overhead and extending it). Limited range of motion. Was seen by Dr. about 6 weeks after injection. Diagnosis: Shoulder injury related to administration of vaccine . Treatment: Refrain from aggravating motions, activities. He may do some upper body lifting in the gym that will not stress the affected areas. Advise to try: upright rows, biceps, triceps 2:Recommend icing shoulder 3x/day, 20 minutes, every day until no pain 3:After a one week break from the Voltaren, may resume topical application 4:Recommend PT, but he declines for now, prefers to see how it goes due to limited time He agrees to go if shoulder does not continue to improve and get fully better.
