Symptom narrative

third dose was mistakenly given three months early; This non-serious case was reported by a nurse via call center representative and described the occurrence of drug dose administration interval too short in a 34-year-old male patient who received HBV (Engerix B adult) (batch number A5DP7, expiry date 11-AUG-2027) for vaccination. On 21-NOV-2025, the patient received Engerix B adult (intramuscular) 20 ug. On 21-NOV-2025, an unknown time after receiving Engerix B adult, the patient experienced drug dose administration interval too short (Verbatim: third dose was mistakenly given three months early). The outcome of the drug dose administration interval too short was not applicable. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 21-NOV-2025 An adult patient mistakenly received his third Engerix-B dose three months early. The first dose was 22 Aug 2025. The second dose was 24 Sep 2025. The third dose was mistakenly given today, 21 Nov 2025. Nothing else was reported.
