Incomplete course of vaccination

Symptom narrative

Late second dose; This non-serious case was reported by a pharmacist via call center representative and described the occurrence of incomplete course of vaccination in a female patient who did not receive Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. Previously administered products included Shingrix (first dose was received in 2018). The patient did not receive the 2nd dose of Shingrix. The patient experienced incomplete course of vaccination (Verbatim: Late second dose). The outcome of the incomplete course of vaccination was not applicable. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 21-NOV-2025 A pharmacist called to ask guidance on the vaccine series of Shingrix. A patient got the first shot back in 2018 and wanted to know if she can get the second shot or start again the complete vaccines series. The batch number was not provided upon follow- up with the reporter.
