Injection site pain

Symptom narrative

Patient woke up the next morning unable to lift her arm and pain at the injection site. She waited until that evening hoping it would improve. She contacted pharmacy. I called her physician's office and left message to call the patient regarding the pain. I advised patient to go to urgent care/ER but she opted to wait until physician returned call. The following day patient started icing the area per physician instruction which improved the pain and mobility. It took 7 days for the symptoms to completely resolve. She did not seek in person during this time.
