Which patient was on dialysis treatment, recieved Prevnar 20 administered at 1756 by charge RN, with verification of no allergy beforehand. Patient reported having some anxiety and shortness of breath, denies any other symptoms. Pt remained on dialysis tx but turned off the fluid removal. Vital signs were 128/83 HR 112 O2 sat 91% RR 28. Pt UF off, O2 mask 5L. Charge RN followed up with patient 2 mins later as pt still having some anxiety. Pt reported throat tightness. Diphenhydramine and Methylprednisolone Sodium Succinate given by RN. Immediate notable improvement on work of breathing, O2 sat 95%. VS 148/73 HR 82 O2 sat 95%. RN remained at pt chairside. Pt reported feeling better and stayed on tx with UF turned on. Dr. notified and stated to keep her on tx and let pt return to SNF if feeling continues to feel fine, and to endorse event to SNF. RN notified facility. Pt with stable vital sings and without c/o until duration of stay in clinic with O2 sat 95% and discharged to SNF.
