when the technician administered the vaccine there was some leakage from the arm, of the vaccine. A little bit leaked out.; This is a spontaneous report received from a Pharmacist from medical information team, Program ID:. A patient in their 50's received pneumococcal 20-val conj vac (dipht CRM197 protein) (PREVNAR 20), as dose number unknown, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) at the age of 6 decade, in arm for immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported. The following information was reported: VACCINATION SITE DISCHARGE (non-serious), UNDERDOSE (non-serious), outcome "unknown" and all described as "when the technician administered the vaccine there was some leakage from the arm, of the vaccine. A little bit leaked out.". The information on the batch/lot number for pneumococcal 20-val conj vac (dipht CRM197 protein) will be requested and submitted if and when received. Additional information: The caller was a pharmacist, calling in as they had dispense Prevnar 20 adult. Asking if if the patient needs another vaccine of another shot of Prevnar 20, how much interval should they have as one of her technicians has done the vaccine so she had some of the vaccines like flashback. We had a customer who requested the prevnar 20 and when the technician administered the vaccine there was some leakage from the arm, of the vaccine. We do not know how much, but a little bit leaked out. If there is leakage from the arm, do we have to repeat the dose and, if so, at what time interval. The caller is a pharmacist, calling in as they dispensed a Prevnar 20 adult shot and one of her technicians has done a vaccine. So she had some of the vaccine flashbacks spill back from the arm. Asking if the patient needs another shot of Prevnar 20 adult, or how long should the interval should they have and all of that and his patient is 50+ years old. Not confirmed if administered or not. The information on the batch/lot number for pneumococcal 20-val conj vac (dipht CRM197 protein) will be requested and submitted if and when received.
