A 75-year-old female patient received BNT162b2 omicron (kp.2) (COMIRNATY (2024-2025 FORMULA)), as dose 1, single (Lot number: NA4452, Expiration Date: 07Sep2026) intramuscular, in right arm for covid-19 immunisation. Additional information: For years (maybe 1x a year), left ear and left lymph gland at jaw have had severe flare up pain right before the patient get a herpes simplex ulcer on lip or tongue. This time, the patient did not get herpes simplex outbreak. The patient thinks the vaccine activating immune system cause by the same autoinflammatory reaction. Since it occurred at the same time as injection site pain stopped same time as injection site pain and ibuprofen helped both.
