Symptom narrative

Hives on arms, back, and abdomen developed in late afternoon after getting RSV, COVID, and influenza vaccines in the AM. Took Benadryl which helped and reports his symptoms have resolved within 24 hours.

Medical history

HIV, hypertension, hypertriglyceridemia, chronic gout, hyperglycemia

Other medications

Administered at the same time as annual influenza and COVID vaccinations. Patient has previously tolerated both influenza and COVID vaccines without hives reaction. Suspected hives are the result of RSV vaccination.

Allergies

No known allergies prior to adverse reaction
