the psoriasis resolved and has not come back since that time; unique sensation in his affected fingers; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of SENSORY DISTURBANCE (unique sensation in his affected fingers) and THERAPEUTIC RESPONSE UNEXPECTED (the psoriasis resolved and has not come back since that time) in an elderly male patient who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (batch no. mc027a21a) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. The patient's past medical history included Psoriasis (The patient had a history of digital psoriasis for many years for which he received frequent treatment. His psoriasis was very severe and the resolved immediately after vaccination.). On 05-Apr-2021, the patient received first dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular use) 1 dosage form. In 2021, received second dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (unknown route) dosage was changed to 1 dosage form. On 05-Apr-2021, after starting mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine), the patient experienced SENSORY DISTURBANCE (unique sensation in his affected fingers). On an unknown date, the patient experienced THERAPEUTIC RESPONSE UNEXPECTED (the psoriasis resolved and has not come back since that time). At the time of the report, SENSORY DISTURBANCE (unique sensation in his affected fingers) had not resolved and THERAPEUTIC RESPONSE UNEXPECTED (the psoriasis resolved and has not come back since that time) outcome was unknown. Concomitant medication was not provided. It was reported that the patient had a history of digital psoriasis for many years and had received frequent treatment for it. He mentioned that after his first vaccination, he had noticed a unique sensation in his affected fingers. He added that following his second vaccination, which was administered a month later, the psoriasis had resolved and had not returned since then. He explained that he had received a total of 4 doses of Spikevax and had never experienced a flare or required medication for psoriasis again. According to him, his psoriasis had been very severe, and it resolved immediately after vaccination with no other known contributing factors and was likely attributable to the vaccine. The patient did not experience any additional symptoms or events. Treatment medication was not reported.
