Symptom narrative

Patient presented to pharmacy mid day 12/04/25 with 3-4 inch red/slightly swollen area on her left arm. She reported the location as where she had received a Shingrix vaccine on 12/02/25. She has not used anything to treat it yet. I suggested for her to put some ice on it and take apap/ibup/diphenhydramine as needed. She said she would go to urgent care if signs/symptoms got worse or seek ER help if starts having trouble breathing.

Medical history

In past patient has had anemia and hypertension.

Other medications

A Boostrix vaccine was given at the same time.
