Symptom narrative

Immunization was given too far up on the right arm, too close to the shoulder joint. I am the patient, but I am also a pharmacist and have had immunization training. I am afraid that the immunization went into the wrong part of the shoulder and now is causing soreness and pain. Post vaccination pain was typical, swelling, soreness. The pain resolved for a few days and now the last few days it is back.

Current illness

Patient was receiving stitches for wound in the left hand the day the vaccination was given
