Symptom narrative

Mother called on 12/3 to report client's right upper arm was red and inflamed at the injection site. She said, "It looks like she has muscles there." Mom reports fever as well and a rash that goes all the way around her arm, stopping at her armpit. Mom reports the rash looks like goosebumps and radiates down to the halfway point of her upper arm. It did not cross the crease of her elbow. Mom reports the onset of these symptoms was about 3 hours after vaccination took place. Mom says child reported itching to the site when they got in the car after vaccination but has not complained of any further itching since then.
