Symptom narrative

Patient vomited on presentation to the clinic and had 1 hive on side along with red dots resembling a viral rash faintly on abdomen. Mom explained patient had been having diarrhea illness for 5 days with occasional vomiting. monitored pt for 10 minutes prior to giving the vaccine and no further hives or vomiting so parent decided to vaccinate. 20 minutes after vaccine patient developed multiple hives on face and back of neck. Benadryl given by mouth 3mls, 7.5mg. 40 min after vaccine patient vomited again and was sent to the ER

Current illness

Diarrhea for 5 days prior. Vomiting 10 min prior to the vaccine and 1 hive on left side of abdomen. Eczema rash to face
