A 95-year-old female patient received BNT162b2 omicron (lp.8.1) (COMIRNATY (2025-2026 FORMULA)), on 21Nov2025 as dose 1, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported. Vaccination history included: Vaccine (whether it is Moderna or Pfizer), administration date: 2024, for Immunization. The following information was reported: DIZZINESS (non-serious) with onset Nov2025, outcome "not recovered", described as "Dizzy"; PAIN IN EXTREMITY (non-serious) with onset Nov2025, outcome "not recovered", described as "experiencing pain in her arms"; FATIGUE (non-serious) with onset Nov2025, outcome "not recovered"; PARALYSIS (medically significant) with onset Nov2025, outcome "not recovered", described as "felt paralyzed"; GAIT DISTURBANCE (non-serious) with onset Nov2025, outcome "not recovered", described as "not been able to walk around/I have been laying on the couch"; EATING DISORDER (non-serious) with onset 22Nov2025, outcome "not recovered", described as "did not eat for the past 3 days". Clinical course: Patient experienced pain in her arms, fatigue, did not eat for the past 3 days, she's not been able to walk around. Patient wants to know if it's normal or not. Patient reported she went on public in # on Friday and had her COVID shot Comirnaty on 21Nov2025. She felt paralyzed for the last 5 days. Confirmed above information and felt terrible pain, fatigue has been bad and was not able to eat for the past 5 days. Patient stated this is the first time she experienced the side effects from getting the COVID shot every year. Patient stated she did not eat three days and she was lying there for five days, this is the first day, she actually got off of the couch for a few minutes. Patient reported she is over 95 years old and she never had a COVID shot that kill her like this one. She stated she can oversee the pain in arm, but not the dizzy and fatigue, she could not get out off of the couch. She had her last shot a year ago. She do not know whether it is Moderna or Pfizer. No follow-up attempts are possible. Batch/lot number is not provided, and it cannot be obtained.
