Patient had a complex febrile seizure beginning at approximately 4:45 am lasting longer than 30 minutes. 911 was called and patient was transported to nearest hospital. She kept seizing while en route to hospital. Was given 3 separate doses of Midazolam. Patient had spontaneous respiration during majority of event with brief apnea. Patient hospitalized at [withheld name] Medical Center from 5:56am ? 9:38am then transferred to [withheld} hospital [state withheld] and kept overnight for monitoring and evaluation. Patient released with 5mg of Diazepam to take home for emergency seizure assistance.
