Symptom narrative

Vaccine was administered very high on shoulder. Past flu vaccines have never hurt. From the moment the needle went in, I could feel a shooting pain. I tried to not show pain because my children had to get theirs next. From that moment ok, I felt pain, and it increased. I could not move my arm properly for the next few days. The pain never fully went away. I played with my children, despite the pain, and it increased. I was in agonizing pain, and have lost joy in usually fun activities because of the pain. I struggle with daily activities, such as getting dressed/undressed and doing my hair, driving, bathing my children, cooking, and doing daily routines of my job as a kindergarten teacher.

Lab data

I went to [withheld name of facility] on November 10. The NP seem to agree it was due to the vaccine. She performed a movement test on me that was extremely painful. She prescribed me Meloxicam (MOBIC) 7.5 mg Oral Tab but it made me feel strange. I took Advil and Aleve daily to relieve pain and topical medication as well. She told me to come back in 2 weeks if it was not feeling better.
