Incomplete course of vaccination

Symptom narrative

Late 2nd dose; This non-serious case was reported by a pharmacist via call center representative and described the occurrence of incomplete course of vaccination in a 50-year-old male patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. Previously administered products included Shingrix (1st dose received 2 to 3 years ago). Concurrent medical conditions included immunocompromised. The patient did not receive the 2nd dose of Shingrix. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced incomplete course of vaccination (Verbatim: Late 2nd dose). The outcome of the incomplete course of vaccination was not applicable. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 03-DEC-2025 The pharmacist reported that a male patient over 50 years of age, who was not immunocompromised, had received the first dose of Shingrix approximately 2 to 3 years ago. No additional patient information was available. The healthcare professional also stated that many patients typically come to the pharmacy within a one-year timeframe for their second dose of Shingrix. The batch number was not provided, and we are unable to contact the reporter.
