Symptom narrative

Injection was put in the wrong place. It did not go in my deltoid but instead in the anterior (front) of my arm. I had a tingling pain almost immediately but had been warned the 2nd dose was painful. But by the next day I was in a lot of pain and it was very red and i was having tingling, and icy sensations up and down my arm and the back of my shoulder. As if someone was writing on my skin with ice and my muscles felt wrong. By sunday 48hrs I noticed it was difficult to bend my elbow or shoulder and my arm was weak. By monday morning the tingling and pain was worse and I had started dropping things. Monday afternoon I went to my doctor. I was prescribed prednisone and a muscle relaxant and told to wait to see if it got better by friday.
