Symptom narrative

Facial swelling by 6 pm 11/30. Took Benadryl. Shot Arm swelling by 12/1, continued on Benadryl. 12/2 switched antihistamine to Allegra & Singulair, shot arm redness and swelling continued to progressively get worse, and my ears felt full of pressure and mouth started burning. When I woke up on Thursday 12/4 my upper lip was swollen, so I went to the ER and received a steroid shot. Today 12/8 I followed up with my primary physician Dr., who prescribed 5 more days of steroids and advised against getting the second Shigrix vaccine.
