Symptom narrative

I began itching and developing Grover's disease lesions on my abdomen shortly after the vaccination. I was diagnosed with Grover's disease one year later in 2022.; vaccine location: shoulder; This is a spontaneous report received from a Consumer or other non HCP. A 44-year-old male patient received BNT162b2 (BNT162B2), on 26Aug2021 as dose 1, single (Lot number: FC3181) and on 16Sep2021 as dose 2, single (Lot number: FC3592) at the age of 44 years for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported. The following information was reported: PRODUCT ADMINISTERED AT INAPPROPRIATE SITE (non-serious) with onset 26Aug2021, outcome "unknown", described as "vaccine location: shoulder"; TRANSIENT ACANTHOLYTIC DERMATOSIS (non-serious) with onset 16Sep2021, outcome "not recovered", described as "I began itching and developing Grover's disease lesions on my abdomen shortly after the vaccination. I was diagnosed with Grover's disease one year later in 2022.". Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of transient acantholytic dermatosis. Additional information: Facility where vaccine was administered: Pharmacy or Drug Store. The patient did not receive any other vaccines on the same day of the vaccination. The patient did not receive any other vaccines within 4 weeks prior to the vaccination. It was unknown whether the patient was taking any other medication within 2 weeks of the event starting. There were no known allergies. Vaccine location was reported as shoulder for both dose 1 and dose 2. It was reported that the patient had begun itching and developing Grover's disease lesions on his abdomen shortly after the vaccination. The patient was diagnosed with Grover's disease one year later in 2022. The patient was treated with UVB therapy, topical/oral medicine and biopsies.
