Inappropriate age of administration; This non-serious case was reported by a physician via call center representative and described the occurrence of inappropriate age at vaccine administration in a 8-year-old male patient who received DTPa-IPV (Kinrix) for prophylaxis. Previously administered products included Pediarix (the patient had 3 prior Pediarix doses). On 03-DEC-2025, the patient received Kinrix. On 03-DEC-2025, an unknown time after receiving Kinrix, the patient experienced inappropriate age at vaccine administration (Verbatim: Inappropriate age of administration). The outcome of the inappropriate age at vaccine administration was not applicable. This report is made by GSK without prejudice and does not imply any admission or liability for the incident or its consequences. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 03-DEC-2025 Doctor of medicine (MD) stated that was the 4th vaccine in the series as catch-up dose. The reporter enquired whether there would be any ill effects due to Kinrix given beyond 6 years old (prior to 7th birthday). The reporter stated they were doing catch up and used Kinrix so the child would not get 2 shots then realized that was only indicated for children 4 to 6. Medical information specialist inquired about the lot and expiration date for the Kinrix, the reporter did not have it readily available. The batch number was not provided upon follow-up with the reporter.
