Writer remembers the immunizations being administered very high on L deltoid but thought that it would cause some longer duration of soreness. Writer had a typical response to COVID/flu vaccines; 3-5 days of flu-like symptoms with moderate arm soreness. Symptoms subsided after day 5. By November 23rd, writer noticed some focal soreness high on L deltoid, near the acromion- where the vaccines were administered- and thought that maybe the poor administration technique caused some deep bruising. Writer took OTC pain medications and utilized heat/cold therapy to manage pain. The frequency of OTC pain medications gradually increased along with lack of effectiveness causing increase in pain medicines through December 4th. Over the next three days, December 4th-December 7th, writer then started to experience lack of range of motion of left shoulder and began to experience severe pain, preventing sleep, activities of daily living and performance at work. Writer went to Urgent care early December 7th for treatment.
