On 09/18/2024 patient received both COVID 24/25 (Spikevax) and flucelvax 24/25. 24 hours after getting both vaccines, patient developed hives and rash. She called her doctor's office and was advised to use some cortisone cream and take benadryl. Hives and rash resolved 24 hours later. This season, patient was advised to seperate the 2 vaccines. On 9/22/25 she received fluarix 25/26 with no issues. She believes that it was the COVID vaccine that cause the hives and rash and did not want to get another COVID vaccine this season.
