ad an adult patient coming in to get the 2nd dose of Hep B vaccine (Engerix-B), and patient was accidently given the pediatric Hep B dose; ad an adult patient coming in to get the 2nd dose of Hep B vaccine (Engerix-B), and patient was accidently given the pediatric Hep B dose; This non-serious case was reported by a nurse via call center representative and described the occurrence of adult use of a child product in a 33-year-old female patient who received HBV (Engerix B pediatric) (batch number K4JH7) for prophylaxis. On 05-DEC-2025, the patient received the 2nd dose of Engerix B pediatric. On 05-DEC-2025, an unknown time after receiving Engerix B pediatric, the patient experienced adult use of a child product (Verbatim: ad an adult patient coming in to get the 2nd dose of Hep B vaccine (Engerix-B), and patient was accidently given the pediatric Hep B dose) and underdose (Verbatim: ad an adult patient coming in to get the 2nd dose of Hep B vaccine (Engerix-B), and patient was accidently given the pediatric Hep B dose). The outcome of the adult use of a child product and underdose were not applicable.
