Symptom narrative

6 year old were given Boostrix; This non-serious case was reported by a nurse via call center representative and described the occurrence of inappropriate age at vaccine administration in a 6-year-old male patient who received DTPa (Reduced antigen) (Boostrix) (batch number EB499) for prophylaxis. On 09-JUL-2025, the patient received Boostrix. On 09-JUL-2025, an unknown time after receiving Boostrix, the patient experienced inappropriate age at vaccine administration (Verbatim: 6 year old were given Boostrix). The outcome of the inappropriate age at vaccine administration was not applicable. This report is made by GSK without prejudice and does not imply any admission or liability for the incident or its consequences. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 09-DEC-2025 The nurse wanted to know what the recommendations are if a 6 year old were given Boostrix, would they need to come back and get the Dtap. It was given in error to a 6 year old, and just need to know if it was recommended for him to come back and get a Dtap.
