Symptom narrative

Patient states that the COVID vaccine was given very high in her shoulder. 2 days later developed redness, warmth and pain at the injection site. Was treated with Keflex. This resolved and several days later continued to have significant shoulder pain radiated into her neck and was unable to lift her arm above shoulder height. Redness had resolved, however warmth and pain at the injection site persisted. SIRVA suspected. Patient started on prednisone and referred to orthopedics for consideration of a steroid injection
