Patient got her Fluzone HD 09/18/25 and had in her words "blood drip" reaction. She is on blood thinners and usually the bleeding stops but her arm got very inflamed and one week later she ended up in the ED of [name withheld] Memorial Hospital and was hospitalized for 3 days while they took care of this complication stated to her from her flu vaccine. Patient stated it was painful and scary and that upon discharge her cardiologist changed her from Xarelto to Eliquis. From this point on patient will only be getting immunizations in her MD office under MD supervision.
