The patient finally went to my dermatologist on the reporting day, and she gave me Valtrex and lidocaine patches. The rash was mostly gone but the pain was still there burning in my back. This started a week after I got the first shingles shot. The patient will not be getting the second shot. The batch number was not provided and we and unable to contact the reporter.
