Injection site erythema

Symptom narrative

Pt received a Prevnar 20 and Flublok vaccine in AM on 12-11-2025 and then developed a patch of redness about 4 inches away from injection site by that evening. Pt called on 12-13-25 and described it as about 2"x2", red/pink, not raised, not painful/itchy. Pt said that it does not appear to be spreading. Told Pt that his description sounds like an injection site reaction which should go away by itself in a few days. If it does not or gets worse, he should contact his MD.
