Symptom narrative

About 5-7 days after patient received her flu shot she complained about severe pain in her shoulder and said she couldn't move it well and it was making sleeping difficult. Patient did get prescriptions for pain medications, a muscle relaxer, and steroid dose pak which did help her pain some. She just recently had an MRI done and the results showed tendonitis and some myolitis but did not confirm if it was caused by her vaccine or not. The doctor who she saw for the MRI prescribed another steroid dose pak (methylprednisolone) and recommended patient does physical therapy.
